However intelligent we think about ourselves cravings keep on fooling us and make our lives complex all across.
Our mind keeps on taking us to the things we had once thought we can do without.
In my case, I use to say many a times that I could be able to keep my life simple with the existing car which I brought second hand 3 years before. It is yet up and running. My family is happy with the same.
I could observe that my mind kept on taking me again and again to again. It also generated a lot's reasons why I should be buying a new one. Slowly it shifted me why to which one? and from basic models to a highend ones. I don't when I started visiting the showrooms and talking to the sales people. It made all my discussions rotate around the car. While commuting I saw only cars of different makes and model. On net, the searches started to be move around cars. My god!!
Finally, I went and booked one yesterday to put end to all that went on and on. Let me accept that, I have succumbed to this craving.
This must be happening with many of us round the world knowingly and unknowingly, for one thing or the other, however wise we might.
I think the first step is to start observing and accepting this whenever it starts happening. In vedanta knowing is conquering.
I also believe that this lesson can be use for my life if I could take this as this was not the last episode. Your time starts now!!
