Make Sense out of New year celebration

Life is a continues chain of moments which is flowing on without control. No physical power can reverse or slow down this gushing river from it's motion.

This journey could has it's milestones placed just to track the distance covered but silent about that is to be covered. This could be measured as years & months & weeks & days......so on.
What makes most men excited when new year is just going to be on?

As I could understand:
1. Assumption that all negatives are gone with the previous year
2. Enthusiasm to make the upcoming year great in some way
3. Chance to meet people by this way
4. Eat and drink freely on that occasion

And so on....

This fever of excitement is in favour of the businessmen who encash on emotional buying and splurging. Hence, these hoteliers, malls, etc. go on creating the atmosphere by all the available means....

We as aware and awake people, have to decide our course of action for such events. And, what can be that:
a. Doing an assessment of the year past as against plans
b. Detailed plan the next year on various fronts based on the Purpose, past experience and dreams
C. Meeting people who can support in anyway for achieving those plans and synergise
d. Passing an realistic new year resolution for all around development
e. Widening the horizon from personal to family to institution to society to country to world while setting up the goals

I believe that the journey of life if shaped well, may end with sense of achievement and men will be able to leave a right legacy for the world behind to live better life.
