Why the 14th day of Bhadrapada is known as Ananta Chaturdashi

I keep on having lot of questions and thereby keep on doing searches with people and on the net as ... Why do we?

Reproduce answers for the same logically for curious guys....

Question that is in my mind the latest is about why 14 day of Bhadrapada is known as Anant Chaturdashi?

I could understand while going to through the stuff is Ananta or अनन्त means the one who does not have end means Lord "Vishnu". This is a festival of conclusion of Vov or व्रत for lord Vishnu. Thers is a story of Sushila and Gargha about the "Anant Vrat". Hence this may have been used as the concluding day for the Ganesh sthapana as w
ell. May be??

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated on Shukla Chaturthi of the Hindu month of Bhadra (generally falls between August and September). This festival is celebrated for 10 days and Ganesh idol is immersed back in a waterbody like sea, river, lake, pond nearing the place of festival on the 11th day. This day is called as Anant Chaturdashi (अनन्त चतुर्दशी). This symbolises the worship with and without idol. You love and pray the lord while he is fullfledged visible and you can feel him in true sense. Post that let the same idol be immersed in water while your love for god should be going further deep.... (सगुण से निर्गुण तक क प्रवास बताय गणेश जी के विसर्जन मे)

But why Ganesh ji stays for ten days?

One of the answers I could find is Shraddha (श्राद्ध पक्ष or पितृ पक्ष) starts from the next day of this day and hence it cannot be generally extended beyond this date. I still felt there should be some better indication by this ten day stay of Ganesh ji at our home or society or village. what's that? Please share your comments for edits here...
