Selfless Service is most selfish act

Our Upanishad says त्यक्तेन भुजीथा:

Take Swami Vivekananda Pramukh Swami Maharaj or Mata Amritanandmayi or any of the Saints for that matter and we will find that there is nothing which they did keeping self in the centre and they could become centres of the world. They proved happier then we are after thinking day in and day out about self. This amazing fact made me think in this direction......

Other way round, these saints thought about the self in a different mannner i.e., not to think selfishly !! Can this be thought this way that, they defined their self bigger and all encompassing that we do !! They included the whole universe as self which definately covered our so called self. Even we do the same thing in the differen manner but suffer i.e., restrcit ourselves to so called self and try to capture every thing around this so called self as to be happy. Is this a matter of perception............. ?

We end up our lives with nothing at the end (even the body burning down to ashes) and they consider this as change in some other form which is also part of self. What we are left with is sadness of departing from everything that we could collect at the end and what these great men have is grace to merge with the bigger self.

Looking practically to this, every home in this world is the home of these people and every car awaits their "pagla" for it's initial journey. Fame and weath is at their feet. And we are left with heart attacks, tensions, strokes & depression and spent our collected wealth on medicines.

Friends percieving rightly is what is most critical thing and the whole approach towards life changes. That's the moral of the story and beleive me thinking selfless will make you grow multidimensionally and wholistically.

Try this out and come back ................
